How to choose a model for your photo session
There are plenty of things that you can photograph and it makes no difference if you are doing it as a hobby or if you are running a photo studio. Getting into model photography is a general progression once you get passed taking photos in your free time. Choosing a model for your photo session can be quite a process, but there are a few things that you can keep an eye on to make the process an easier one. All models are different, have different personalities and attitudes so that is something that you should consider that when you are setting up your photo shoot.
The first thing that you want to consider is choosing a model that is as natural as possible for the theme of your shoot. You want to have a model that is ready for the session, not one that you want to make into a model after the shoot. If the model needs more makeup or your photoshop skills get a workout after the session that might be something to keep in mind. Another thing to keep in mind would be the height and weight of the model. This might not be as important as whether the experience level is for the model, but it can play a part depending on what your session is themed around.
Background checks, word of mouth from others that the model worked with and whether or not the model has a fresh face are all other things to consider when looking for a model.
